An award-winning global catering and logistics business with Chesham headquarters is currently recruiting for a senior Marketing Manager to join their warm and friendly team on a part-time basis (5 days per week, 10-2pm core hours) for an initial 6 month contract - this will likely become a permanent role. Suitable candidates will have demonstrable B2B marketing experience (5 years minimum) working within leisure, catering, hospitality, marketing agency or consulting environments where there has been considerable requirement to manage activity across the marketing spectrum and translate marketing strategy to practical application.

The business began in 1984 as Eat to the Beat –providing backstage crew and artist catering support for international tours with an A-Z of clientele including Lady Gaga and Coldplay, major festivals such as Glastonbury and Reading, concert venues and TV and film locations. The success of delivery to this audience with diverse requirements and expectations saw the business extend into catering for corporate hospitality, private party planning, automotive and sports events, as well as project management, brand support and logistics, and as such Global Infusion Group and its sister business e2B were born.


You will be responsible for delivering the Group’s brand messages by developing compelling customer propositions for application across multiple channels, equipping the client-facing business heads with content, sales toolkit, presentation and pitch framework documentation, etc.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering the brand and individual service messages by developing and evolving the library of sales collateral and toolkit for the teams
  • Working with a creative agency to effectively position the Group service portfolio
  • Implementing a global B2B lead generation and promotion campaign
  • Devising communication plans to go-to-market with existing established services
  • Acting as a brand ambassador, ensuring sales tools and marketing materials are used effectively by client-facing teams
  • Managing a full time marketing executive to ensure the marketing plan activities are successfully implemented
  • Managing an external PR agency
  • Manage communication with numerous stakeholders – internal and external
  • Provide effective high level monthly reports to senior management team detailing the marketing outputs, ROI and ROO
  • Plan and work to agreed budgets and keep accurate financial records

Key candidate requirements:

  • At least 5 years’ marketing management experience within a demanding and busy environment
  • Creative thinker
  • Ability to multi task across different projects/sites
  • Self-starter able to work autonomously and keep non marketing management briefed on activity
  • Experience of supplier and agency management
  • Ability to mentor junior staff
  • Website management experience
  • Campaign management experience
  • Hard working and exceptionally organised
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
  • Ability to present to clients and colleagues at a management level
  • Educated to degree level in a business/marketing course or a CIM qualification is desirable but actual work experience more important
