Job Specifications

Roles are wide and varied, UK and International, short and long term.

Key responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Collecting and washing up pans, plates and cutlery and getting them back into use as quickly as possible for the Chefs and Front of House.
  • Clean food preparation areas and equipment, in addition to crockery and cutlery.
  • Helping out with basic food preparation for Chefs if needed.
  • Keeping the kitchen clean & tidy – this includes emptying bins and mopping work area.
  • Keeping work surfaces, walls and floors clean and sanitised.
  • Ensuring waste is correctly recycled.

Key candidate requirements (including, but not limited to):

  • Strong communication skills in a kitchen environment.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene to level 2 required.
  • Willingness to learn, and follow instructions.
  • Friendly and affable personality.
  • Able to work under pressure with others calmly, courteously and methodically.
  • Comfortable working as part of a team and also having the initiative to sort out anything as and when it comes up.
  • Consistency in producing good service levels.
  • Professional appearance and polite manner at all times.
  • High levels of personal hygiene.
  • Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.
