We are currently recruiting for Freelance Front of House to provide a friendly and efficient service to all customers at our projects and events, at home and abroad.

Job Specifications

We are always seeking passionate people to join us on a freelance basis i.e self employed, to be the face of our brands, and proudly and respectfully represent our standard of excellence in catering and hospitality.

Roles are wide and varied, UK and International, short and long term.


Key responsibilities (including, but not limited to):

  • Cleaning and clearing tables in the dining room and serving areas and keeping the area clean & tidy, rubbish free and ready for use at all times.
  • Replenishing food stations (hot and cold) – making sure they are kept stocked and appropriately presented (in accordance with the GIG standard).
  • Serving food either by table service, or from a bain-marie.
  • Topping up tea & coffee – making sure this area is clean & tidy and well stocked i.e. milk, coffee and cups.
  • Work closely with the kitchen porters and the chefs to ensure that there is enough food, cutlery and plates at all times, and that the food being served looks enticing and appetising for the customer.
  • Clearing bins.


Key Candidate requirements (including, but not limited to):

  • Provide a friendly and efficient service to all customers.
  • Good team player.
  • Knowledge of food hygiene to level 2 required.
  • Willingness to learn.
  • Excellent communication skills – a good level of English is required.
  • Friendly and affable personality.
  • Enthusiastic with a can-do attitude.
  • Willingness to ensure that the client's needs are met at all times.
  • Able to work under pressure with others calmly, courteously and methodically.
  • A problem-solving person, confident in using their own initiative.
  • Consistency in producing good service levels.
  • Professional appearance and polite manner at all times.
  • High levels of personal hygiene.
