With their roots in the music and events industry, a film & TV division firmly established and 33 years experience catering around the world, Eat to the Beat are proud to have a client list that runs from A-Z. Working their way from location to location on film & TV shoots to worldwide music and production tours, one off shows and providing dressing room riders ETTB are known on site for their smiles, delicious & freshly cooked food. ETTB create a haven for artists, crew and production alike to relax in, creating a home from home – taking the corporate out of hospitality and working as extension to your team so all you have to do is enjoy the food & ambience.

A Head Full of Dreams

Since ‘Parachutes’ in 2000, Eat to the Beat have been involved with all Coldplay’s tours building a close relationship with the band, managers and crew across the USA and Europe.

In 2016 Coldplay embarked on their A Head Full of Dreams Tour. Once more, Eat to the Beat could be found backstage hard at work serving great food and service.

Traveling with them across Europe and America, Eat to the Beat typically catering for 180 crew at each show! Working with Coldplay has always and hopefully will always be a pleasure.

ETTB have been catering for the Cirque teams across Europe, the UK & Asia since 2003. With extensive worldwide tours, ETTB’s expertise is crucial in ensuring the teams eat fresh, highly nutritious meals throughout.

We provide a home from home on the road working with Cirque most recently on Varekai, Saltimbanco, Michael Jackson: The Immortal World Tour and Alegria.

Each Winter we also get to be involved in the stretch of Cirque Du Soleil shows at the Royal Albert Hall in London.

From our years of touring we have a recipe for just about everything and an everlasting passion for food that goes into every meal we make!

Eat to the Beat first catered for the American hip hop duo Macklemore & Ryan Lewis back in 2013. Their world tour kicked off at the London O2 Academy, before traveling across Europe and concluding in Alcatraz, Milan. Eat to the Beat were on hand to provide a selection of our trademark, premium quality catering at 25 shows across Europe.

After their great success, Macklemore & Ryan Lewis returned to Europe for their “Macklemore & Ryan Lewis – Part II: A European Tour” in 2016. Once again Eat to the Beat supplied Artist, Crew and dressing room catering in Arenas across Europe during the 2-month tour. Our Fully flight cased kitchens allowed us to be quick and efficient during loads ins for each venue.

Funniest Tours Around

Some might say the new ‘rock n’ roll’ is comedy, with some of the biggest names going on tour and regularly selling out arenas across the UK.

2014 saw ETTB provide catering for Lee Evans on his ‘Monsters Tour’!

In 2015 we were back on the road with Michael McIntyre for his UK tour ‘Happy & Glorious’ following the record breaking success of Showtime in 2012!

Eat to the Beat hit the road with Billy Connolly aka the Big Yin on his High Horse 2016 tour which traveled across the UK for 29 days in 11 different venues!

And this year is no different, jam-packed full of laughter with Russell Howard’s Round the World Biggest Ever Live Tour.

V Festival was first held in 1996. It is now held annually in Hylands Park, Chelmsford & Weston Park, Staffordshire. Eat to the Beat have been working with V fest in Chelmsford since 2009.

In 2016 we provided V Festival artists with our trademark first-rate cuisine, dressing room catering and a very popular artist’s sweetie station! We served 20,683 delectable meals over the weekend with Eat to the Beats finest team members!

During the festival weekend, we catered for some of the biggest names in pop music including, Sia, David Guetta and Justin Bieber!

And the Award Goes To…

Whilst we’ve won a few awards in our time we’ve also catered for some of the biggest award ceremonies!

2016 was a BIG year for awards Eat to the Beat catered for the crew at The Duke of Edinburgh’s Diamonds are Forever Charity Gala. We also provided artist and crew catering at The Fashion Awards, which was hosted at the Royal Albert Hall, one of our favourite regular venues in London. On top of the above, we were overloaded with glitz and glamour, catering for the crew at the internationally-renowned TV Baftas! …And if that wasn’t enough, we also provided artist and crew catering for two of the biggest British Music Award ceremonies, Mercury Music Prize and BBC Music Awards, where we fed British icons such as Robbie Williams and grime act Skepta.

Location Catering

With our fleet of mobile unbranded and branded kitchen trucks and infinitely adaptable flight-cased rig kitchens, Eat to the Beat has the flexibility to allow its high-quality catering to become a staple and revered provision at dozens of studios and location shoots across the continent!

Fitting a temporary kitchen into an available space or setting up one of our trucks to stand alone in a challenging location has become second nature to our crew. Their technical expertise coupled with vast culinary skill ensures a hassle-free and always satisfying catering experience!

With our fleet of trucks containing a generator, water tank and waste tank at the ready, we are able to cater almost anywhere!

Reading and Leeds

At Eat to the Beat we pride ourselves in being able to get the job done and get it done well with elegance, even in the most challenging of situations or locations.

In 2016, we celebrated our 30th year catering Reading Festival! We served upwards of 6, 510 meals for the artist and crew. Leeds festival, we catered for the artist and crew as well as providing a Summer BBQ for the Radio 1xtra team, serving up tender beef burgers and succulent chicken wings!

Headline acts included the legendary Red Hot Chili Peppers, Biffy Clyro and Fall Out Boy.

    1984 - 1 Rig, 1 Man

    George Orwell wrote about it, ‘Relax’ by Frankie Goes to Hollywood was number one and Eat to the Beat was born on February 7th. Touring with Joe Jackson, Iron Maiden and an In House catering contract.

    1986 - Moving on Up

    1986 saw ETTB cater for Queen, UB40, Monsters of Rock at Donnington and Reading Festival for the first time!

    1987 - Cooking with Gas

    Finally gave up on the Potato Oven! Catering for David Bowie and then Genesis at Wembley Stadium. Hunting of the Snark at the Royal Albert Hall. Tours for Wet Wet Wet and The Beastie Boys.

    1988 - Branching Out

    ETTB Film & TV division is created with the purchase of our first kitchen truck & our corporate hospitality division. 2 tours in Russia, Howard Jones & Frank Zappa amongst others.

    1989 - Moving Out

    Ran out of space in the garage so it’s time to move into our first industrial warehouse and office space! Highlight of the year, a new breed of festival the ‘Rare Agricultural Breed Tour’ (see what we did there!?)

    1990 - What a year!

    ETTB catered for Roger Waters ‘The Wall’ in Berlin, Nelson Mandela at Wembley Stadium and Frank Sinatra all in the space of 12 months. PLUS Mary Shelley-Smith joins our Crew!

    1991 - Pop will eat itself

    We’re off again, back to Russia with Rev. Billy Graham, touring with Nirvana and keeping Kylie Minogue’s famous derriere in shape on their tours. Global Infusion Group is formed.

    1992 - Our First Award

    Honoured and privileged!! ETTB win the inaugural LIVE! Award for Best Catering Company in the music business! Tours with Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Rush and Take That.

    1993 - Second Year in a Row

    An eclectic year for ETTB – Noel Edmonds Garden Party, the Bolshoi Ballet with our Russian Chefs and then to Italy with a Kitchen Truck for Zucchero plus our second LIVE! Award. We love what we do!

    1994 - On Location

    Getting into the spirit of all things detective ETTB went on location with Poirot. Tours included Blur, Garth Brooks, Elvis Costello and the Proclaimers. Plus of course our 10th Birthday!

    1995 - 17 Tours, 1 month

    A year of numbers – our 3rd kitchen truck – the Dining Bus, 15 rigs and 17 tours all out at one time in October. A Rolling Stones Show in Paris, plus an in house contract at Westway Studios.

    1996 - Girl Power

    Winning another LIVE! Award, Bonnie May left the road to work in the office and have a baby, Glastonbury and plenty of tours such as ZZ Top, Pulp and of course the Spice Girls.. What a year!!

    1997 - Hands Full

    A Star War’s party, Sonia’s Karaoke Challenge, our 4thLIVE! Award and Harrie May joins the world! Tours from Duran Duran at the rock and roll end of the scale to the truly glam, Dame Shirley Bassey.

    1998 - Spaghetti All round

    ETTB get their name in the Guinness World Record Books for the largest bowl of spaghetti!! Catering for the MOBO Awards, Judas Priest and Stereophonics. e2B logistics is formed.

    1999 - Use the Force

    ETTB were on hand for the record breaking Comic Relief catering for Artists and Crew, which saw a fantastic £35 million raised. Star Wars tour, Party in the Park and Homelands Festival.

    2000 - Millenium

    Catering at the Royal Military Tattoo, the Hampton Court Music Festival and tours with Duran, Duran, Barry Manilow and Prefab Sprout. We were also honoured with winning the final LIVE! Award.

    2001 - Another Great Year

    Festival of the Sea, Harry Potter Press Junket and Peter Cook Tribute. Bjork, Coldplay, Elvis the Concert, Ash and Faithless to list a few, we’re not ones for resting on our laurels!

    2002 - Time to join HQ

    A year of ‘big one’s – the Golden Jubilee, 18 years working with Iron Maiden – here’s to many more, and Mary joins the office team leaving the road behind – well for the most part at least!

    Fashion Rocks, Cirque du Soleil, Christina Aguilera, Eddie Izzard, The Eagles in the US and Daniel Bedingfield. Proud winners of the inaugural award for Favourite Caterer at the Total Production Awards.

    2004 - Do They Know...

    …it’s Christmas? ETTB are proud to have been a part of Band Aid 20! Plus catering at the Vodafone Ball, Download and tours with White Stripes, Offspring, Norah Jones and the Eagles.

    2005 - Feed The World

    World Leaders at G8, crew and musicians at Live 8 ETTB fed people from all across the globe, won our 2nd TPI Award for Favourite Caterer and the Silver Event Award for Event Supplier of the Year.

    We’re firm believers that if you love what you do it shows! ETTB were awarded TPI Favourite Caterer and Eventia Caterer of the Year. Tours galore, Barcelona for the Laureus Sports Awards & Lollapalooza in Chicago.

    2007 - Reading Anniversary

    Our 21st Anniversary catering at Reading Festival, back in our usual spot at Glastonbury, on the road with Take That, Amy Winehouse and Mika. Plus we faced the dragons, when we catered on location for dragons den.

    Highlights in a paragraph: Coldplay, Leonard Cohen, Reading & Leeds, V Festival, Glastonbury, Big Chill, London Calling. 60 Minute Makeover, Dancing on Ice and a Total Production Award for Favourite Caterer.

    …is the spice of life! From the London G20 Summit to Britain’s Got Talent, Varekai with Cirque du Soleil to Ultravox, Michael McIntyre, Pet Shop Boys and UB40 and another award for Favourite Caterer!

    2010 - A Religious Occasion

    Catering for the Pope during his Papal Visit to the UK a little different to our Rock n Roll roots but all taken in our stride. A little more what you might expect to see – 30 Seconds to Mars, Cirque du Soleil and Tim Minchin.

    2011 - In House in the USA

    We’re here to stay – very excited to be an in house caterer at the Merriweather Post Pavillion! Justin Bieber, Stereophonics & Bill Bailey also kept us busy.

    2012 - Triple Gold!

    We’ve got the triple gold without competing at the Olympics! TPI Favourite Caterer, Top Dog Best Caterer and the Arthur Award for Best Service Company. Lots of celebrating and lots of catering!

    2013 - What a Year!

    An award winning year which saw us providing services for the likes of Jessie J, Ellie Goulding, Macklemore, Justin Bieber across Europe and as far as China, we also went on tour with our longest standing client Iron Maiden with whom we’ve been with for 30 years!

    2014 - ETTB's got talent!

    An award winning year for ETTB, as we received the award for the ‘Best Crew/Artist Catering’ at the Festival Supplier Awards. We continue to build our client base, whilst continuing loyal relationships with those we have worked with since the start! Drake’s (UK & US) tour and Lady Gaga’s artRave: THE ARTPOP Ball tour were definite highlights for 2014!

    2015 - 31 Years on the Road!

    ETTB party like its 1984, as we celebrate 31 years on the road! Who would have thought it, all them years ago – 1 rig, 1 man… Thank you to everyone, including our clients, crew, friends & family who has worked alongside us on this successful journey! We’re excited to see what the next 31 years have in store for us.

    2016 - HM The Queen's 90th Birthday

    ETTB completed one of their most prestigious assignments ever by catering Her Majesty The Queen’s 90th birthday celebration at Windsor Castle.

    ETTB were appointed to supply catering services to participants and backstage crew for the spectacular event which coincided with the annual Royal Windsor Horse Show.

    2017 - Services Above and Beyond…

    Eat to the Beat have kicked 2017 off with a BANG, touring with Strictly Come Dancing, Avenged Sevenfold, Cirque Du Soleil, Busted, Pet Shop Boys and Russell Howard!

    We have also been awarded ‘Services Above and Beyond’ at the Arthur Award for the second time!
